Our Story
The Salad Bowl has been a staple in the community for over 15 years, serving fresh, flavorful, and creative meals that nourish both body and soul. In 2018, Tristin Morningstar expanded on this legacy by opening The Ice Cream Bowl, bringing handcrafted ice creams, sorbets, and milkshakes to the mix. With a vision to combine the best of both worlds, Tristin decided to unite the two businesses, creating a destination where everyone can find something to love—whether it’s a hearty salad, a refreshing smoothie, or a decadent dessert. Introducing the bowls, because Salad and Ice Cream, as we all know, is better together.

Tristin’s passion for food and community runs deep. Growing up, her mother ran a business in the Original Covent Garden Market, at same location The Salad Bowl calls home today. Watching her mother’s entrepreneurial spirit inspired Tristin to follow in her footsteps, focusing on fresh, locally-sourced ingredients and sustainable practices that honor her roots.
